Taking over the project from another Programming Company and continuing development work. Implementation of new functions, such as: expansion of the book valuation mechanism, integration with InPost shipments and an ISBN number scanner.
Skup Książek is a platform that allows readers to sell their books. The application values books, which are then bought back by Theseusz Online Antiquarian Bookstore. As a private person who wants to sell selected books, you don’t have to worry about finding people interested in buying them – everything happens via the Skup Książek platform.

Poject process step-by-step
We start every project collaboration with a thorough needs analysis and familiarisation with the client’s business. Implementation of a defined scope of work
Based on an overall work plan, we prepare detailed specifications and complete tasks in 1-2 week sprints.
Internal tests
Testers continuously test the implemented solutions and verify their correctness with the established assumptions, which allows possible errors to be eliminated at an early stage.
Client's feedback
After each sprint, we present the results of the completed tasks to the client. Regular feedback allows us to continually review initial assumptions and modify plans for subsequent sprints.
Frequent releases
Thanks to CI/CD, we can run subsequent pieces of code in production – weekly or more often. Thanks to this, we introduce changes gradually, which does not require a complete shutdown of the client’s business.

Expansion of the pricing system
Skup Książek has a system based on a proprietary engine that prices a book based on data about its condition and type. The customer does not have to enter the product price himself. Automation of this stage allows you to significantly speed up the entire book sales process.
Integration with InPost
Skup Książek is now integrated with the InPost parcel shipping system. If you want to sell a book, just generate a shipping label and go to the shipping point or send the parcel via a parcel locker. There is no need to register the shipment yourself with the selected carrier.
ISBN number scanner
The ISBN number allows you to identify the publisher and its publication, thus verifying the item. The scanner function makes it easy to add books to the Purchase without having to manually enter the ISBN number. Just use the camera function on your mobile or desktop device.
